This week a friend threw me a delightful baby shower, three weeks after my family baby shower. Not only is this friend amazing at decorating (as you can see from the pictures), but she is a fabulous hostess too. After everyone came in and started eating brunch, the hostess asked each person to share with the group how they knew me. It was fun to hear what people had to say, with about half the group having met me through my husband.
What is there to say this week? I have been absolutely exhausted lately, so there hasn’t been much happening. I already told you about my messy house last week, so what else is there? The good news, ironically, is that Husband was also exhausted this week.
At thirty-three weeks pregnant I’ve been absolutely exhausted. Normally I fight to keep a tidy home. I’m the kind of person who feels like I can think clearer and accomplish more if my surroundings are uncluttered. However, this month has been a different story. Our home has been a disaster since Christmas, but here is the kicker: I don’t even care.
